Note:
Strategic Communications Wing ONE, commonly known as TACAMO ("Take Charge and Move Out") is a Navy Air Wing fully integrated on an United States Air Force base, carrying out a Navy mission in joint operations. STRATCOMMWING 1 provides operational control and administrative support for the Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadrons VQ-3, VQ-4, VQ-7, and various training units.
The Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadrons are flying the Boeing E-6B Mercury, a communications relay and strategic airborne command post aircraft. |
