EMT Aladin Mini-UAV System (Aladin = Abbildende, luftgestützte Aufklärungsdrohne im Nächstbereich)

Aladin is an easy to operate high performance miniature unmanned air vehicle (UAV) system developed by EMT in Germany. It is in operational service with several NATO countries, and provides the troops with fast and flexible low profile reconnaissance operations during day and night, greatly enhancing situational awareness in real-time. With an ALADIN system, units have the ability to perform almost immediate, on-demand reconnaissance flights for detailed Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) data in real-time without risking soldiers lives. ALADIN can be deployed in any terrain, as it is man portable and does not require a runway.

LUNA - Luftgestützte Unbemannte Nahaufklärungs-Ausstattung (Aerial Reconnaissance and Surveillance System)

LUNA is an all-weather, easy to operate unmanned air vehicle (UAV) system for real-time surveillance, reconnaissance and target location at ranges exceeding 100 km with an endurance exceeding 6 (optional 8) hours. The LUNA system is in service with the German Army since March 2000 and is successfully performing reconnaissance missions in Kosovo, Macedonia and Afghanistan under severe weather conditions and in difficult terrain. LUNA is a cost effective and reliable solution for military and for civilian applications. It is build by EMT Engineering in Penzberg, Germany.

Rheinmetall KZO Tactical UAV System (KZO = Kleinflugzeug für Zielortung, small aircraft for target acquisition)

KZO is a reliable system for high-precision reconnaissance targeting and damage assessment for intheatre operations. Since 2009, it has served as a tactical UAS for the German Armed Forces in Afghanistan. It provides reliable aerial reconnaissance results in real time: at any time of the day or night, in almost any weather conditions, anywhere in the world in any climate, over distances of 100 km or more under threat. The KZO's main objective is to locate mobile threats and provide target locations for artillery. The UAV is launched with a booster rocket directly out of its container. Landing is done with a parachute. The KZO is manufactured by Airbus Defence and Space Airborne Solutions GmbH of Germany, a joint venture of Airbus Defence and Space and Rheinmetall.
